Working with Diversity

Every person’s story is shaped by a unique constellation of experiences — cultural background, family history, language, identity, beliefs, and life transitions. In therapy, these dimensions are not just context; they are central to understanding who we are and how we relate to others.
Throughout my professional experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. This has reinforced my belief that diversity is a source of richness, perspective, and strength, both within therapy and in life.
An Inclusive and Respectful Approach
My work is grounded in the principles of systemic–relational therapy, which recognises that we all exist within interconnected systems — families, communities, and cultures — that shape how we think, feel, and behave.I approach each client with curiosity, openness, and respect, valuing the complexity of their lived experience and the unique meanings they bring to the therapeutic space.
This includes sensitivity to issues such as:
Cultural identity and migration
Intercultural dynamics
Gender identity and sexual orientation
Family and societal expectations
Life transitions, belonging, and adaptation
A Space for Authenticity
Therapy offers an opportunity to explore how these experiences influence your sense of self and relationships, and to find new ways of expressing identity and belonging. My goal is to create a space where every client feels seen, heard, and respected — a place where differences are not barriers but pathways to deeper understanding and connection.
