Counselling and Therapy
I strongly believe that the main purpose of both a psychotherapy and a counselling process is to help people gain self-awareness.
That is often the key to make you feel more self-confident, fully in charge of your own life.
Self-awareness can help you to effectively achieve your goals and cope with difficulties, changes, crisis that you can find on your way. It can make you feel free. Free to be yourself.
During my professional experience, I have learnt that everybody possesses the capacity to develop and improve their skills and activate hidden resources from inside in order to become a more satisfied person, a better professional and achieve personal and shared success. I have studied and worked strongly believing in this.
If nothing ever changed
there would be
no butterflies
Virginia Satir, considered the mother of Family System Therapy, once said:
“The symbol in Chinese for crisis is made up of two ideographs: one means danger, the other means opportunity. This symbol is a reminder that we can choose to turn a crisis into an opportunity or into a negative experience.”
“We Can Choose”. That’s the point. We can always choose the way to deal with our lives, the way to address our problems. We can choose every moment. We can choose every time we need to make a decision, to take the first step, to go with our intuition, to follow our mind or to take the lead, to open-up, to accept the challenge, to say something, to explore, or not.
